Morse Code Tools

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-11-03

This policy explains what information Morse Code Tools (morsecodetools.org) collects and how it is used.

Information you enter

The tools on this site run in your browser. What you type, the recordings, videos and photos you load, and the sound from your microphone are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers. The microphone is only used after you press Start listening and you allow it, and it stops when you press Stop listening or leave the page.

Your playback settings (speed, spacing, tone, volume and which outputs are on) are saved in your browser’s local storage so they are still there when you come back. You can clear them by clearing this site’s data in your browser. The messages you type are not saved.

When you use Share, the message is written into the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers don’t send that part of a link to our servers when the link is opened, so the message only goes to the people you share the link with.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
